      Hi Teegan

I decided late in sixth form when doing the University Applications that I wanted to apply for Medicine, so it wasn’t ‘something I always wanted to do’ but something I thought would be really really interesting- and it was!
I’m currently a Trainer of my own allocated junior doctors and on my area’s GP Training programme and I run workshops for other Trainers of GPs.
I have to keep up to date as both a GP and a Training Programme Director and produce evidence of that training each year as part of an Annual Appraisal. It’s a little different to the training that Philly will be doing as she goes into GP Training where there are exams to pass.

Medicine is something I’ve been absolutely set on doing since I was about 15, but it was on my radar long before that. I’m in my second year of foundation training – the 2 year programme after medical school, and hoping to start GP training in 2019.
